WHO YOU ARE

  • You are a senior dev ops engineer with seven or more years of experience.
  • You are an expert in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD).
  • You are an expert in AWS CloudFormation, IAM, CodePipeline, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, and other critical AWS services.
  • You have excellent communication and documentation skills, able to explain your ideas, designs, and implementation plans clearly and concisely.
  • You have experience going through and maintaining SOC2 compliance life cycle.
  • You have fundamental understanding of the Serverless Architecture Model with AWS, ideally with experience working in it.
  • You have a fundamental understanding of how to secure a complex AWS environment.
  • You naturally take into account scalability when considering your implementations.
  • You are comfortable writing in YAML for CloudFormation stacks.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be responsible for orchestrating our Serverless backend in AWS according to best practices.
  • Be responsible for things like managing our data backup policies, disaster recovery, new environment development, and our security implementation at the AWS level.
  • Thrive in an environment where the best idea wins.

 

HOPEFULLY YOU'LL ALSO BE FAMILIAR WITH

  • Programming in Javascript/Typescript and have an understanding of asynchronous programming concepts.
