We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer that will enjoy being part of a highly collaborative team of technologists out to build a first of its kind product.   • You are an experienced quality engineer with a passion for building beautiful and reliable software applications
  • You have designed test suites, both manual and automated, that exercise complex applications from the functional, stress, load, security, and negative perspectives
  • You have background in software development and experience with popular frameworks for websites and APIs
  • You are able to understand the workflow of an application from a user perspective; you can identify usability challenges and effectively communicate those challenges to the product design team
  • You are experienced with Cypress or other test automation tooling
  • You are able to quickly understand project objectives, gather test requirements, and execute
  • You possess excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and debugging skills


  • Plan, document, and execute test plans against a complex single-page web application, APIs, and batch jobs
  • Create and maintain automated UI tests using Cypress
  • Troubleshoot and triage production issues reported by clients
  • Participate in early technical design meetings for new features to help prevent defects in finished work product
  • Review and/or craft detailed acceptance criteria for relevant work tickets
  • Review code in pull requests, and effectively communicate feedback to the applicable stakeholders
  • Track the status of features and fixes as they are reported, fixed, approved, and deployed
  • Maintain test environments with realistic data 



  • API test automation with Postman and other tooling
  • Javascript (typescript and/or react is a plus)
  • Querying both relational and NoSQL databases
  • AWS services and the AWS Command Line interface; most importantly the Lambda, API-Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch services
  • Git for version control

  • Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing experience: 3+ years
  • Test automation: 3+ years
